The Greater Bay Area Metropolitan Club was formed in 1980. Through monthly meetings and its Newsletter, the club allows Metropolitan car owners and non-owners from around the Bay Area and beyond to get together and exchange ideas, tips, knowledge, parts, and good times.
GBAM'S goal is to enhance the appreciation of the Metropolitan. We strive to enhance the value of the car, as well as the individual owner's appreciation of his or her investment.
The GBAM NEWSLETTER is published 6-8 times per year. Through the Newsletter, members diagnose car problems, share ideas, and exchange hint and tips. Members share information about how to prevent common failures, and learn about preventive maintenance. Members also learn where to find parts, collectibles and other items unique to the Metropolitan. The newsletter also provides a calendar of events such as car shows, parades, GBAM activities, and much more.
